Return Ratio, Delivery Timing and Return Charges

Understanding the difference between HHC’ Role, Courier’s Role and Dropshippers Role in whole delivery Process is very crucial. Firstly, understand that HHC does not have a delivery time! but, a Dispatch Time. It is HHC’s responsibility to dispatch products on time, let’s say if an order was placed before 10 am, it is supposed to be dispatched the very same day if it is working day.

Understanding HHC Dropshippings’, Couriers’ and Dropshippers’ Role in Whole Delivery Process:

HHC is a Dropshipping Company that is connecting Dropshippers with Suppliers and Courier Companies, everyone is playing their respective role. HHC’s main role is to dispatch orders placed by Dropshippers before cut-off time, as soon as possible via courier company of their choice, starting with, arranging products from suppliers and packing it in HHC’s facility, applying Shipping Label with Dropshipper’s Business name and contact and handing it over to courier, making sure all the orders are dispatched within same day. NOTE that HHC’s same day dispatch ratio of orders placed before cut-off time is 98%

After that parcel gets out of HHC’s domain and becomes the responsibility of Courier company to deliver it to consignee as soon as possible. In this phase, HHC again supports the dropshippers by providing these features, which no one else does.

1. Complete Parcel tracking log is shared on HHC portal

2. 24/7 Real-Time RCP feature for Trax shipments, incase parcel is not delivered to consignee for any reason, you have the option of instructing courier to reattempt the parcel directly from HHC’s portal.

3. Parcel Tracking Ids are generated within 5 minutes of order placement, which can be shared with consignee to satisfy and make him track his own parcel.

HHC Itself is Not a Courier Company, Instead it provides the best available Courier Options available within Pakistan on its Portal.

Factors Affecting High Return Ratio:

High Return ratio depends on many factors, -on your end, it depends on your product selection, if its a saturated product or not, pricing, marketing strategy, and most importantly Customer Support. Incomplete addresses, consignee city/location, courier company performance, Customer mood change, fake reasons from riders, are other factors which all combine together and effect your Return Ratio. There factors are common for local ecommerce industry, even if you do Private/White Label. Your approach should be to work on factors which are in your control, so you can atleast minimize return ratio, rest which are not in your control are losses, which is a part of business and should be treated as such from the beginning, to keep them under acceptable range.
