Shariah Compliance Certificate – HHC Dropshipping’s Business Model is Now Shariah Compliant as Certified by Renowned Scholars
At HHC Dropshipping, we are committed to adhering to Islamic laws in all aspects of our business. While our entire business model is Shariah-compliant, two primary concerns are often raised: product possession and the terminology Dropshippers use when conducting business. To address these concerns, we acquired services from As-Sadiq Shariah Consultancy, they studied our business model rigorously and suggested specific steps for implementation to ensure these areas fully align with Shariah laws and after working of 6 months they have now Certified our Business confirming Compliance to Shariah Laws, which is attached herewith.
Suggested specific steps by As-Sadiq Shariah Consultancy to ensure HHC Dropshipping’s Business Model Aligns with Shariah Laws are detailed below:
- Product Possession and Order Confirmation Process:
Once a Dropshipper places an order, the following steps occur:
- Booked: The order is placed, and the product is picked up from the supplier.
- Arrived at HHC: The product is brought into HHC’s facility, hub, or operations office, marking the point where it comes under the possession of HHC/Dropshipper.
- Dispatched from HHC: The product is packed and handed over to the courier.
The Dropshipper has the option to cancel the order before it is updated to “Dispatched from HHC.” Once the product is marked as “Arrived at HHC,” the Dropshipper confirms the dispatch by not canceling the order while still having the option to do so before it is marked as dispatched.
- 2. Terminology Guidance:
We recommend Dropshippers use language that reflects their role as facilitators, not owners of the products. For example, instead of using statements like “I will sell you the product,” Dropshippers should use phrases such as “I will send you the parcel” or “I will make arrangements for your order delivery.” Additionally, using “Order Now” instead of “Buy Now” is encouraged for websites and promotional material to align with Islamic trade ethics.
Conclusion
These steps ensure that both product possession and terminology usage align with Islamic trade ethics, guaranteeing that our business practices remain fully compliant with Shariah law. Certificate of Compliance from the scholars of As-Sadiq Shariah Consultancy is attached herewith for your perusal.
